These oil filter adapters are designed to fit between the filter and the engine block. When the oil temperature reaches 160 degrees F, the oil filter adapters start to release oil to the engine oil cooler, and they release all oil to the cooler when the temperature reaches 180 degrees F or higher. 

Features 3/8" NPT Inlet/Outlet.

Fits all VW/Audi 4, 5 and 6 cylinder with thread-on 3/4" canister style oil filters. 

Note: Does not fit VR6 engines.
