The RacingLine Stage 3 Forged Monoblock Brake Kit moves braking technology to a level above anything seen before in this market.

Each lightweight Forged Monoblock caliper is a one-piece construction that starts out from a single ultra-strong forged billet. Rather than two halves bolted together, RacingLine's design is monoblock, requiring a complex 5-axis CNC machining procedure to construct each caliper in one piece, a technique usually reserved only for the highest-specification motorsport kits.

The result is a 6-piston caliper that is both stiffer and lighter than any other, combined with exceptional cooling characteristics and stunning detailing. The strength of this construction allows for RacingLine to design the calipers with a thin profile; as well as providing extreme stiffness and light weight, aids in the all-important wheel clearance packaging. Meaning that this brake kits fits under OEM wheels when using RacingLine's 5mm hub adaptors.

As RacingLine’s kit is engineered exclusively for VWG cars (rather than the generic calipers that many companies offer), they’ve invested significant development time to define piston sizes to perfectly match with VWG’s master cylinders and servos for beautiful progressive pedal response.

Despite the size of these calipers, they weigh in significantly under the mass of the factory ones. The caliper, pads and bracket assembly together weigh 11.7lb (5.3kg) vs 18.9lb (8.6kg) for the much smaller stock Golf 7R / S3 equivalent. That's a really worthwhile unsprung weight saving.

RacingLine’s kit offers you a choice of 355mm or 380mm fully-floating ‘triple-grove’ two-piece rotors giving vastly greater heat capacity, so reducing the effect of fade. These floating high cast carbon rotors are formed from a mixture of high-quality steel combined with carbon; giving a higher friction coefficient compared to normal steel rotors.

The fully floating mounting between rotor and top hat bell allows for thermal expansion and contraction to avoid cracking. The anti-rattle mounts keep it quiet. Meaning this Stage 3 Brake Kit is at home on the track as it is on the daily commute.

The 355mm rotor kit requires 18” rims or more for clearance; the 380mm must have a minimum of 19” wheels.

Composite Ceramic Fast-Road Pads are included with the kit. RacingLine have thoughtfully specified a generic pad size for this kit, meaning a wide choice of alternative pad brands & compounds are available if you have your personal favorite, or you're planning hard track use.

This Stage 3 Brake Kit comes with everything you need for installation: rotors, calipers, mounting brackets, fast road pads, braided steel lines. Plus the option of RacingLine’s Hub Adaptors for extra wheel clearance on OEM wheels.
