These High Performance Pads use an advanced high friction material to provide a dramatic improvement in the braking department. This is a set of Front Pads for the 312mm front brakes such as Golf mk7 GTI and Audi A3 8V. RacingLine’s key development brief for the RP700 brake pads is to deliver near-zero brake fade under high temperature use, yet without requiring a warmup period - essential for cars that have to perform in daily driving as well as fast road and occasional track use. They are a straight replacement for your factory pads, using the standard brake hardware, yet delivering a much higher resistance to high temperature fade. RacingLine’s testing program was carried out on road and track. The resulting medium hardness pad construction uses an aramid fiber compound that gives the ‘sweet spot’ of high performance with a key focus around perfecting pedal feel - resulting in progressive braking with unparalleled pedal response. Importantly, it is a legal requirement in most markets to carry ECE R90 certification – yet many aftermarket pads do not. These RacingLine RP700 pads have this certification, giving you the peace of mind that the pads will work just as well when cold as when up to full track temperatures.
