Fully developed with F1-standard CFD programmes, it's no wonder so many high-power MQB cars choose the R600 intake. The giant airbox and filter surface area is key to this, with airflow capabilities to support power outputs of up to 600hp without restriction. Twin CFD-optimised front intakes extending across the front of the car help achieve lower intake temperatures and worthwhile power gains. The enormous airbox volume houses the giant domed filter, complete with thoughtful details like connection to the original factory drain tube included. The base of the giant airbox itself is UK-moulded in factory specification PU Polyurethane. PU gives excellent heat-insulation properties, keeping airbox temps lower as well as great durability in all conditions. Every factory mounting point is retained for that perfect fit. The giant domed Trifoam® filter unit is hand-made in the UK and over double the surface area of the factory filter. With a sophisticated triple-layered foam construction it gives the perfect filtration and minimum restriction. Note that RacingLine offer you a choice of two alternative filter units: this unique Trifoam® filter or a Pleated Cotton unit, to suit different owner’s needs.
