Do you have an inaccurate oil level light on your dash? The problem may be your oil level sensor, which keeps track of the level of oil in the oil pan to avoid issues caused by loss of lubrication. If you're oil level is correct on the dipstick but not on the dash, replace the oil level sensor to rid yourself of the warning.
