Street Density Line Mounts are void-free and fluid-free, eliminating the slop associated with the factory mounts. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e 034Motorsport Street Density Engine Mounts are manufactured from 70-durometer rubber, which is a significant upgrade from the 60-durometer rubber used in stock BMW E9X M3 transmission mounts. The tail shaft of the transmission compresses the mounts, as well as puts tension on them by pulling up on the mounts, meaning that the mount materials should be able to withstand both forces. In addition to these two forces, there are also shear twisting forces within the transmission mount assembly. Given that Polyurethane cannot reliably withstand these forces, it is not a long-term viable material to use for an upgrade in this location.
